Ira Lee Denman 82 of Spring died at his home on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. A family memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 4 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston.
Mr. Denman was born May 9, 1932 in Milam County to Ira Luther and Bertha (Childress) Denman.
After graduating from Milano High School and working a few years, he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Denman returned home and was employed by Alcoa, then moved to Houston where he worked as a millwright.
He married Sept. 1, 1961.
Survivors are his wife, a step son, a stepdaughter, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One brother of Rockdale, one brother of Lampasas, three sisters all of Rockdale and numerous nieces and nephews.
