CLYDITH THELMA DEMICELL , 81, died June 13, 1997, in Canon City. She was a homemaker and volunteer for several organizations.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Monday, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Holt Mortuary, 806 Macon Ave., Canon City. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holt Family Chapel of the Garden, with the Rev. Dorothy Hoover officiating. Private family burial will be held.

Mrs. Demicell was born Jan. 17, 1916, in Kansas to Clyde Wilkins and Maude V. Smith, who are deceased.
She was married July 5, 1936, in Canon City to William Demicell , who lives in Canon City.

She is also survived by a son, DeVaughn of Los Lunes, N.M.; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a brother, DeCalves Payne; and a sister Blanche Irene Nelsen.
Mrs. Demicell graduated from Canon City High School in 1934.
She had lived in Canon City for most of her life, also living in California.
