Birth: Jun. 8, 1850
San Ignacio
Sinaloa, Mexico
Death: Sep. 21, 1912
San Jose
Santa Clara County
California, USA

According to her death certificate, Medarda's parents were Ponciano Osuna and Gertrudes Garcia. She was reported to be born in Mexico.

Medarda was married to Manuel Lopez and had several children, possibly including, Alejandro, Elojio, Comante, Braulio, Timoteo, James and Beatrice.

After Manuel died in a mining accident, she married Giovanni (John) Francesco Delmaestro of Switzerland on October 4, 1884. John Delmaestro had one son, Angelo. She died in Santa Clara County and we believed she was buried in Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery according to Williams Funeral Home records, but it was discovered that she was actually buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

There may have been a child stillborn to Medarda and John who was buried 14 January 1886, officiated by Rev. John Wakefield, D.D.
