A native of Bamberg County, she attended Winthrop College. She married the late Wilbur R. Delk. She was a member of Double Pond Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher in the children's department for over 30 years. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, William R. Delk of Dunwoody, Ga.; three daughters, Cheryl D. Hartzog and Bertie Hair of Hilda and Judy Freeman of Swansea; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Delk, Alan Delk, David Delk, Monty Nix, Ken Freeman, Don Still, Dalton Still and Howard Still.
