Mr. Delcambre died at 3:30 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mr. Delcambre was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and a retired floor hand for Delta Drilling Company.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Guidry Delcambre of Lake Arthur; one daughter, Carol Dean Delcambre of Crowley; two step-daughters, Loretta Duhon of Egan, JoNell Hebert of Lafayette; one step-son, John "J.D." Michon of Conroe, TX; grandchildren, Ronald Doucet, Jr., Travis Wayne Doucet, Shannon Paul Doucet; seven step-grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Lucia Soileau Delcambre; one step-daughter, Beatrice Alleman; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter
