Beatrice Del Campo Castruita, age 82, of Austin, Texas passed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.

She was a kind and caring mother and grandmother. Beatrice was cherished by many, including her son-in-laws, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the oldest of sixteen children.

She enjoyed a long time retail career that she loved. Everyone who knew Bea knew that red was her favorite color. She will always be "the Lady in Red".

She joins her loving husband, Arthur Castruita whom she was married to for 41 years and her beloved mother, Carmen Trevino.

She is survived by her two daughters Barbara Espinoza, Debbie Festari and her sisters, whom she raised as her own, Lucille Zapata and Lillian Caro.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Resolutions Hospice for their care and kindness during our time of need. We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to her caregiver, Julia Saldana.

Funeral arrangements are through Mission Funeral Home at 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19. Funeral services will be held at Mission Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
