Born in Gloucester City, she was raised in Florence, and after her marriage, she moved to Burlington, and then to Burlington Township.
She worked for Olivetti Underwood and WT Grants, both in Burlington, and she went on to work as a visiting homemaker for Burlington County Social Services. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Jeanette Deets; her husband, Edward Hunter; and her brother, Albert Deets. Margaret is survived by her children, Edward Hunter (Susan) of Pilesgrove, Dennis Hunter (Helen) of Medford Lakes, David Hunter of Kissimmee, Fla.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Elizabeth Filippine.
The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral services. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
