18 Oct 1935 - Curtis Dees, who was accidently run over by a truck Friday October 4th and died in a Mansfiled Sanitarium, was entered in the Fort Jesup cmetery the following Sunday. The funeral servicse were conducted by the Rev. J. M. Pate at the Baptist church at Fort Jesup. Curtis was 22 years old and was the eldest of 5 children of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dees, all of whom are living; Misses Ollie, Maybelle, Audrey and James. Mr. and Mrs. Dees have the sympathy of their many relatives and friends in the loss of thier son.
