Mrs. Sarah Baumbach, who had lived in the Superior community longer than any other person, died Friday, Sept. 8, at the Belden Rest Home, at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Mrs. Baumbach was the former Sara (sic) Ann Deere. She was born at Firth, Neb., and at the age of two years, came with her parents, to a farm northwest of Superior.

On April 1, 1896, she was united in marriage to George Emil Baumbach of Superior. Two sons and seven daughters were born to the union. Mr. and Mrs. Baumbach were caretakers of the Nuckolls County Farm for 21 years. Mr. Baumbach died on Dec. 13, 1933.

Mrs. Baumbach was a member of the Methodist Church, the Women's Society of Christian Service, Mature Years, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbor Lodge. She had been a resident of the Belden Rest Home for the past four years.

Surviving are her two sons and seven daughters, John G., Delos Emil, Mrs. Merle Shaw (Gladys) and Mrs. Louis Snavely, all of Superior, Stella Mouzakiotis and Mary Theriault of Chicago, Mrs. Mrs. (sic) Mickey Barrett (Ruth) and Kay Corrigan of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Wesley Fallis (Maxine) of Denver, Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Her parents, a brother, William Deere and two sisters, Minnie Adams and Katherine Davidson, and three sons-in-law, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church in Superior Monday, Sept. 11, with the Rev. Lloyd Mohnkern officiating and the Megrue Funeral Service in charge. Interment was in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
