The death of Elizabeth Deeney Conroy, wife of the late James Conroy, occurred at the family home in this village Thursday morning, October 8th at 1:30 o'clock, following a few weeks illness. She was about 71 years of age. On March 20, 1868 she was united in marriage to James Conroy in the town of Java, and the family came to Warsaw about thirty years ago. Mr. Conroy died in June 1910. Surviving are three sons, Eugene, Leo and Urban of Warsaw, also three daughters, Mrs. John Mennel of Beaumont, Tex., Miss Martha Conroy of Geneva and Miss Belle Conroy of Rochester. The funeral was held Saturday morning in St. Michael's church, Rev. Father Dobbins of Pavilion officiated and the burial was beside her husband in St. Michael's cemetery.
