Thelma Decker Bedwell, 87, of Sullivan, passed away at 3:45 Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Heartland Health Care in Avon.
Born July 25, 1915, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Thomas C. and Birdie Ice Decker.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a deaconess at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne E. Bedwell of Sullivan; one son, Michael Bedwell of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Phillis Scifers of Edmond, Okla., and Janet Keim of Brownsburg; one brother, Garland Decker of Munice; two sisters, Esther Drake of Sullivan and Joann Harris of Kokomo; eight grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at Alexander-Kean Funeral Home in Sullivan at 2 p.m. on Monday with the Rev. Tim Fleace officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
