She was the daughter of James Barton Deatherage and Mariah Ann (Forman) Deatherage. She married Elbert W. Roe September 18, 1926 in Gowen, Oklahoma. She later married Ivan Austin on May 30, 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She passed away at the Twin City Nursing Center. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Hartshorne Rebekah Lodge #54. Survivors include: a son, James Donald ROE, of Tuba City, Arizona; two
brothers, Mark Deatherage of Lawton and John Deatherage of Salinas, California; two sisters, Sally Kinnikin and Clara Kilgore, both of Hartshorne; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Deatherage, in 1959. Services were held Monday, Jan. 4, in the chapel of Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Rev. Billy Davenport and Rev. Minyard officiated.
