MRS. LEWIS C. ARMON

Tennie Deatherage, daughter of the late Jasper and Tennessee Deatherage, was born east of Desloge, Mo., on December 26, 1887, and passed away at her home in Desloge on March 26, 1950, aged 62 years 10 months.

On October 20, 1907, she was united in marriage to Lewis C. Armon, and they were the parents of two daughters: Mrs. Ressie Lewis of Elko, Nevada and Nelma (Mrs. Ellis) Buscher of Bonne Terre.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and daughters, also three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers and five sisters: Emmett Deatherage, Mascot, Tenn., William Deatherage, Banner, Mo.; Mrs. Ed Meyers, Mrs. Belle Davis and Mrs. Harvey Smith, St. Louis; Mrs. Rosie Yawberry, Farmington Route Two and Mrs. Evelyn Lawson, Detroit, Mich., besides other relatives and a great many friends, for she made friends with whomever she came in contact.

Mrs. Armon obeyed the Gospel about thirty years ago at Cantwell and later with her companion moved her membership to Bonne Terre, where she remained faithful to the end.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Church of Christ in Bonne Terre, conducted by Rev. J. H. Mabery. Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park. C. Z. Boyer & Son Service.
