Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and one hour before services on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson with burial following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
A native of Kosciusko, Mr. Deason was a retired salesman for Capital City Beverage.
Mr. Deason was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Dora Jane Deason; a son, Robert (Bobby) Chipley Deason; and two brothers, Ben Deason and Charles Allen Deason.
Survivors include three daughters, Dottie Deason Elliott of Canton, Jo Deason Trant of New Orleans and Connie Deason Harris and her husband Pat of Richland; a son, Charles (Chuck) Wayne Deason of Richland; four sisters, Helen Acy of Pearl, Faye Shivers of Florence, Laverne Prouty of Byram, Peggy Sheridan and her husband Jerry of Pearl; a brother, Edward (Bill) Deason and his wife Mildred of Pearl; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
