Mrs. Ada Carbaugh, 73, wife of George A Carbaugh, died at her home in Cashtown Monday evening at 8:10 from the effects of a stroke suffered three weeks ago.
She was born in Franklin township, a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Mary (Comfort) Deardorff, and resided most of her life in Adams county. She was a member of Flohr’s Lutheran Church and was active in social affairs of the Cashtown community.
Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married 31 years, and one niece, Mrs. Dickson Garner, Ardmore.
Funeral services Thursday at 2:00 from the Bender funeral home conducted by the Rev. Robert C Schiebel. Interment in Flohr’s cemetery.
