Mrs. Clinton D. Bream
Mrs. Matilda A. Bream, 66, wife of C. D. Bream, died at her home in Bendersville at 3:40 o'clock April 4th after a year's illness from complications. Her condition had been serious since Christmas.
The deceased was a native of Adams county and spent all her life here. She was a daughter of Henry and Mary (Sillick) Deardorff and was married 45 years ago.
Mrs. Bream was a member of Cline's United Brethren church and had served for 15 years as treasurer of Sunday school. She had taught a Sunday school class for 12 years. She also was a member of the Bendersville Community fire company auxilary.
Surviving are her husband and three children: Wallace D. Bream, Newport; Mrs. Leia Rice, Harrisburg, and Merle C. Bream, Carlisle: three grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. A. Burtner, Aspers; A. B. Deardorff, Aspers, and Mrs. Alfred W. Courtney, Norristown.
Funeral services from the Bendersville Lutheran church on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. George E. Snyder her pastor officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
Her daughter, Leila W. Bream, first married Leo Milton Rice, then Paul Derickson.
Her son, Merle C. Bream, married Pearl Showers.
Her son, Wallace Deardorff Bream, married Vera Group
