Injuries suffered in a fall at her home on May 4 were indirectly responsible for the death of Mrs. Alberta Bream, 59, wife of Clarence A Bream, prominent Cashtown fruit grower, who died at her home at 12:30 this morning.
Mrs. Bream fell backwards from a ladder while cleaning a ceiling at her home on May 4, sustaining a fracture of the pelvis. She was brought ot the Warner hospital where she remained a patient for 20 weeks.
Three weeks ago, she was removed to her home and seemed to be improving steadily, when complications developed about a week ago, resulting in her death.
Mrs. Bream was a daughter of the late J Adam and Elizabeth (Trostle) Deardorff, and was born and always resided in Cashtown and vicinity.
She is survived by her husband, one foster son, William Seibertt, at home, and four brothers, Harry W, Cashtown; J Allen , Baltimore Street; Curtis W, Lansdale and Roy O, Middletown, Ohio.
Mrs. Bream was a member of Flohr’s Lutheran church, and the Excelsior Sunday school class there. She also was a member of the Gettysburg chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Bream home, the Rev. George B Ely officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ira Trostel of Shillingeon. Interment at Flohr’s church cemetery.
