Oney F. Deal, route 1, Blackburn passed away this morning in St., Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, where he had been a patient for the last ten days.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the chapel of the Sweeney-Reser Funeral home. The Rev, Gall Zimmerman, minister of the First Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 o'clock Thursday night in the Sweeney-Reser Funeral Home.

Mr. Deal was born in Saline County near Mt. Leonard March 22, 1877, the son of Julius H. and Sarah Fulkerson Deal. He was united in marriage December 23, 1907 to Miss Dorsia Killion at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Killion near Sweet Springs. Mr. Deal was employed for 15 years in Kansas City and for the last 26 years had Operated Deal's Service Station on highway 20 near Mt. Leonard.

Surviving are a son, Howard Deal of Marshall; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Mr. Maurice Deal of Mt. Leonard.

Mr. Deal was preceded in death by two brothers, Aubra and Raymond Deal.
