Rick A Devore was a man big in stature and had an even bigger heart. Like many of us he thought he never mattered, but he did. He touched many lives with his presence and he will be missed. He was the rock foundation for many that knew him.
Graduated Seymour High School class of 1987.
Even though he had the presence of being a lion he had the heart of a gentle spirit. He had wished that he ould have children, but as time would have it never happened.
He moved to Washington, IA and worked for IBP meat packing plant. Later, he worked at Voltmasters Battery in Corydon, Youngs Liquid Grow, Rod's Construction & Excavation both located in Plano. He helped in many church activitied, building habitat houses, and doing repair on the Plano Christian Church. For a big man who was not fond of heights many times he would put away his fear to get the job done. He was a very decisive man, willing to put aside his own needs to help others.
