Henry DeRossett, 57, died in Chicago at the West Side Veterans Hospital Monday, January 1, 1968 at 7:30 pm. He was a veteran of World War II and had been employed at a Chicago dairy. The son of J.H. and Mae Webb DeRossett, he was born in Tennessee and was married to Mary Stanley who preceded him in death as did one child.
Survivors include three brothers, Herman of Marion, Jimmy of Redwood CA and Jesse of Chicago and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Clifford of Chicago, Mrs. Howard (Cora) Carleton and Mrs. Nelda O'Brien, both of Los Angeles, Mrs. Ronald (Hazel) Clardy of Bradley and Mrs. O.C. (Vera) Callahan of Glendale CA. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery after funeral services at Mitchell Funeral Home in Marion.
