Camille Eusèbe DEMOULIN (Camille DEMOULIN) was born on May 28th, 1819, in Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
He was the son of Martin Joseph DEMOULIN and Catherine MAIRESSE.
On March 16th, 1846, Camille Eusèbe DEMOULIN married Adeline DELATTRE (Adeline DELANTRE DEMOULIN) in Quiévy, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.

His obituary and his grave marker both give his date of birth as 5 May 1817.
After his seven years of military service in the French cavalry. he married happily, and in 1860 came to Illinois with his wife and four children to which a fifth was added later. After working in Sebastopol a few years as wagonmaker, he took to farming, but finding this uncongenial, he went back to his native country with his wife and two youngest sons. He returned after two years and settled west of Sebastopol on a small farm he had bought. There with his faithful wife died on 22 August 1889. After a few years of lonely life, he sold his possessions in 1894 and went to live with his eldest son, Cyril. In 1898 he came back to Sebastopol and took up his home his nephew, Camille, where he died.
