Mrs. Frances Barton, 89, a former resident of Howard county, died at 7 p.m. Friday in the Indiana Odd Fellows Home here.
She was born at Mechanicsburg near Kokomo on Aug. 4, 1873. Her parents were Wilson and Mary Hamilton DeMoss.
Her husband, Sam Barton preceded her in death. He was a member of Kokomo lodge No. 133, I.O.O.F.
Mrs. Barton came to the state home here from Kokomo on June 24, 1961.
The survivors include to sons, Arnold Barton, of Long Beach, Fla., and Frances Barton, of Kokomo; and a daughter, Mrs. Naomi Weaver, of Indianapolis.
The body has been taken to Fenn funeral home at Kokomo for funeral rites. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery at Frankfort.
