Lois A. Bennett -- Battle Ground
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground for Lois Aileen Bennett, who died in Battle Ground on Tuesday, June 27, 2000. She was 74.
Mrs. Bennett was a housekeeper for Vancouver Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Everett and lived in Clark County since 1928. Her maiden name was DeLay.
Survivors include her husband, Frank, at home; two daughters, Anne Brown and Ellen Dvorak, both of Battle Ground; one brother, Royce DeLay of Grapeview; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bennett graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1943. She enjoyed needlework, reading and embroidery. She was a past member and master of Yacolt Grange.
Private burial will be in Lewisville Cemetery in Battle Ground. The casket will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
