She was called Bobby, because her middle name was given her in honor of her father, Robert DeLancey.

Winifred Roberta "Bobby" DeLancey was born in Belgrade, Nebraska on Oct 26, 1921, the second child of nine children. Bobby had to drop out of school in the sixth grade to stay home and help take care of all the children who came after her.

The DeLancey's were living on a farm and there was much work to do, as well as to help her mother care for the home and the children.

After going to a dance with a boyfriend, Bobby met the love of her life that night, another fellow named Ed Cramer. He was a motorcycle rider who was a bit dangerous in his early years. Bobby arrived at the dance that night with one fella and left with the other one.

Ed and Bobby were married in Papillion, Nebraska on August 31, 1940 and were married until that fateful day in January 1987 when Ed lost his battle with emphysema and heart problems. After that day, Bobby was not the same. She missed her beloved, very much.

Bobby lived in the Portland Oregon area until 2003 at which time she moved to the Troutdale area with her daughter and son-in-law.

Bobby had a bad fall one day in early August 2007, it was touch and go for another two weeks. She lost her battle on the evening of August 28, 2007 while still in the hospital.
