Mr. Bastiaan De Graaf, Jr., -Age 100, born in Rotterdam, Holland and a resident of Fairhope, AL., died Friday, January 12, 2007 at a local health care facility. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Hossner. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sawyer De Graaf of Fairhope, AL; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Hossner of Ashton, ID; two grandchildren, Jennifer Rowland and Jill Hossner; two great grandchildren; and one brother, Jacob de Graaf of Chula Vista, CA. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church or the Salvation Army.
