Services for Florence Day Barton, 83, of Murfreesboro, who died Sunday Dec. 19, at Boulevard Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
The Rev. John B. Sessoms will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Hollett Day and was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Marie Dennison.
She is survived by a son, Gary I. Barton of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Carol Frances Morin of Fryburg, Maine; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A native of Lynn, Mass., she attended First United Methodist Church and was a retired medical secretary.
Memorials may be sent to United Way of Rutherford County or the First United Methodist Church building fund.
Visitation will be 3-4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
