Curtis Day, 71, 1807 Guilford Lane, died Monday at St Anthony Hospital. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Day was born in Edmond and moved to Oklahoma City in 1912. He graduated from Central High School and attended Oklahoma City University. He did graduate work at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was an employee of Consolidated Gas Co. in Blackwell from 1930 to 1948 and was an associate with the National Gas Industry. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; and a son, Richard, -12 Park Manor. Memorials may be made to the Goodland Indian Orphanage in Hugo or to a favorite charity.
