Maxine Dawson Brochue, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

Born March 21,1921 in Randolph County, AR., to the late Bence and Drewcilla Dawson.

She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Dow Dawson and Brance Dawson and one sister, Vida Dawson Martin.

She is survived by one daughter, Gail Brochue and husband Eddie Garrett of West Memphis, AR. 2 grandchildren, grandson, Trey Garrett of West Memphis, granddaughter Leigh and husband Rob Gutterridge of Centerton, AR Two great great grand-children, Garrett and Carson Gutterridge of Centerton, AR.

Maxine was a 1940 graduate of Pocahontas High School, 3 year letterman in Basketball and Named all district squad. Local Bowing league for more than 30 years. Retired Natural Gas Pipeline employee for 31 years. She spent a decade delivering Meals on Wheels. 10 Years as coordinator for the Red Cross Bloodmobile in Randolph County.

Funeral services were in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
