Betty Joan Griffin Davis, 51, Scottland Drive, Columbus, Ind., died Wednesday, Dec. 16, at her home.
She was born at Eubank on April 14, 1936, daughter of Mitchell Griffin, Eubank, and the late Retna Todd Griffin. She was an employee of Cosco Co. for several years.
Survivors include her father; two sons, Anthony Jerome and Mark Edward Davis, both of Columbus, Ind.; nine brothers, Oather Griffin, Stanford, Vaudie, Bernard, Verlon, Elroy and Dean Griffin, all of McKinney, V.J. Griffin, Akron, Ohio, Blaine Griffin, Eubank, and Leroy Griffin, Lexington; four sisters, Leona Whitis, Eubank, Lodema Saxon, Somerset, June Roberts, East Lake, Ohio, and Wilma Kelly, Lexington, and a granddaughter.
She also is survived by a former husband, Edward Lee Davis, whom she married Jan. 18, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her mother; an infant son, Larry Davis, a daughter, Deborah Davis, and a sister, Boneta Griffin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel 3729 25th St., Columbus, Ind.,
Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Columbus, Ind.
