Statesboro, GA - Mrs. Wilma Lee Davis Brown, age 82, died Saturday at Heritage Inn Nursing Home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
She was a native of Candler County but had lived most of her life in Bulloch County. Mrs. Brown was a member of Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Davis, Joe Davis, and Charlie B. Davis, her sister, Alma Wilson, and her grandson, Michael Scott Brown.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sonia Brown of Statesboro; one daughter, Kathleen Brown of Tybee Island; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Al Coursey of Statesboro; one adopted sister, Erlene Schneider of Statesboro; two granddaughters, Jessica Smith and her husband Andrew of Statesboro, and Kimberly Brown of Statesboro; one great granddaughter, Kassidy Smith of Statesboro; niece, Bonnie Clark and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Brown will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Mike Oglesby officiating.
Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
