Miriam Davis Brown went home peacefully to join her husband Clifford “Dob” Brown, and her
Heavenly Family waiting on her at Heaven’s Gates, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home in
Sevierville, TN at the sweet age of 95.

Miriam was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Larry and Laddy and a glowing grandmother and great grandmother when around her granddaughter’s, Charity Brown (Sevierville, TN) and Jenna Brown Colina (Phoenix, AZ), and her 5 precious great grandchildren, who she loved so much: Alex Colina, Caylin Brown, Sofia Colina, Bentley Jaxson Brown, and sweet baby Cora Brown. Miriam was very proud of and loved her son Larry’s son-in-law Javier Colina. And was so happy to have Javier in the family.

Miriam worked at the LaFollette Shirt Factory and later retired from Imperial Reading, where she worked along side many friends, and family member Moverine Miller.
Miriam was raised in Frakes, Ky, in a community known as Laurel Fork by her mother and father Buddy and Grace Davis. Miriam was part of a family of 11. 4 brothers and 7 sisters, living and working on their parent’s farm.
Miriam loved working, especially out in the yard planting flowers and weed eating, she took great pride in her home and yard. She also loved watching birds eat bread crumbs off her patio, playing with her pets, watching the Price is Right and Family Feud. She was a great cook, and as her life slowed down, she got hooked on word search books.

Miriam was preceded in death by her loving husband Clifford, parents Buddy and Grace Davis,
brothers Fred Davis, Ben Davis, Cordell Davis, Sisters, Hazel and Lela Davis, Georgia Davis Martin, Edith Davis Lambdin, Ida Mae Davis Partin.

Survivors:
Sons: Larry and Laddy Brown of Sevierville
Brother: Damon Davis, Middlesboro, KY,
Sister: Maxine Davis Kennedy, LaFollette

Miriam also leaves several nieces and nephews, and friends. Her niece Christy Kennedy was like a daughter, and loved her very much, and her brothers Terry and Clint Lambdin like her sons.

Family will receive friends and family from 6 PM to 7 PM on Saturday March 20, 2021 with a short service at 7 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home
Graveside Service will be at 1 PM Sunday March 21, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery, LaFollette, TN.
