Clark Allen Davis
Clark (Toad) Davis, 40, Centerville, died Monday, Sept. 17, 1984 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
He was born Oct. 22, 1943 in Centerville and was the son of Clarence and Verna Clark Davis. He had been an area painter and worked in the construction industry.
He is survived by two sons, Timothy and Scott of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Kenneth Davis, Denison and Edward Davis of Casper, Wy. and two sisters, Florence Stickler of Centerville and Eloise Singley of Orange, Cal..
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. at the Johnson-Lange Funeral Home in Centerville. The Rev. Richard Francis of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. The body has been cremated and the ashes will be interred at a later date at Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to the Kidney Foundation and Diabetes Association.
Note: Clark graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1961.
