He was born May 14, 1913 in Clark County, and was a retired employee of the Verona Lumber Yard. Mr. Davis was a veteran of World War II.
A member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Verona Senior Citizens and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, the former Helen Rotar; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Linda) Goldben of Hanover Park, Illinois and Mrs. Peter (Viola) Davis of Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. Flossie Schmidtke of Granton, Mrs. Doris Schwanebeck of Pittsville and Mrs. Richard Miller of Lakeland, Florida; and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Viola) Davis, one daughter, one brother, and two sisters.
Services were Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Verona with Rev. Delbert Schmelzer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Joyce-Verona Funeral Home handled arrangements.
