Funeral services for Shirley Ann Clayton, 58, of Sulphur Springs have been set for p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Morning Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. H.B. Nash officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Jay Davis, Farron Davis, Cedric Spikes, Seddrick Adams, Donnie Stribling, Deraymus Adams and Cory Young serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Tapp Funeral Home.
Shirley Ann Clayton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1953, in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Francis Willard and Archie Jean Nash Davis.
She was retired from customer service for A.C.S. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Rodney Clayton of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, LaKeitha Clayton, Alicia Clayton and Tiara Beachem, all of Dallas; five brothers, Lester Davis, Jimmy Davis and Vincent Davis, all of Sulphur Springs, and Vernon Douglas and Alvis Coy, both of Fort Worth; three sisters, Lois Cash and husband, Lawrence, Louise Woodard and Marie Hill, all of Sulphur Springs; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Carroll; and one granddaughter, Azaria Spikes.
