Born in Baytown on July 5, 1950 the daughter of Betty and Herman Davis. Wanda lived in Baytown for three years and resided in Highlands for 50 years. Mrs. Davenport was a member of The Pilot Club of Highlands. Her favorite pass time was visiting and playing with her grandchildren. She was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglass for more than 20 years.
Wanda was predeceased by, grandparents, Ivan and Bess Shore, Mr. and Mrs. Elton Davis, father, Herman Davis and infant sister, Beverly Davis.
Wanda is survived by her mother Betty Davis, son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Michele Davenport, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Brent Emerson all of Highlands; grandchildren, Brittney Davenport, Dillon Chapman, Koby Emerson and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m. today, March 13, 2003 at Sterling-White Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003 at Sterling-White Chapel.
Burial will be in the White Cemetery Highlands.
