Floy Mae Chaney Cearley was born December 9, 1922 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to John Marvin and Ida Mae (Cogburn) Davis. She passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 92.
She attended school at Filmore, Oklahoma and moved to Chickasha in the mid 40’s and has lived here ever since. She married James Richard Chaney and later married Grady Cearley.
She is a charter member of Bible Baptist Church and is currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Richard Chaney and Grady Cearley; grandson, Stephen Lynn; granddaughter, Shannon Nicole Dees Hardy; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Floy is survived by her 3 daughters: Dot Dees, Venita Morton and Sherry Stamper A brother, Coy Davis 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
