Opal Gray Davis Bishop, 85, died Sunday, December 8, 1991 in Sparks, Nevada.
Daughter of the late Garfield and Lucy Johnson Davis, she was born April 2, 1905 in Wildersville, Tenn. Two brothers, Luther and Jimmy Davis, both of Steele, Mo., also preceded her in death.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Church of Christ of Sparks. She had been a faithful worshiper for 74 years.
Mrs. Bishop leaves one son, Robert Bishop Sr., of Sparks; a daughter, Carolyn Wiley of Lakewood, Colo.; a son-in-law, Dell Wiley, of Lakewood; one brother, Ray Davis, of Covina, Calif.; three sisters: Hazel Goodrich of Riverside, Calif., Alta Reed of Dexter, Mo., and Aldena Southern of Portageville, Mo.; five grandchildren, Robert Bishop, Jr., Michael Bishop, and Kimberly Bishop, all of Sparks; Melan Hall of Long Beach, Calif., Mark Wiley of Lakewood; and one great-grandson, Jeremy David Hall of Long Beach.
Funeral services were held at Oakdale Memorial Park on Friday, December 13, 1991, in Glendora, Calif., with Brother Gilbert Allen officiating.
Burial was at Oakdale Garden of Memory.
Pallbearers were Robert Bishop Jr., Mark Wiley, Michael Bishop, Won Young Ko, Jeff Brink, and Walter Hall.
