Albert Waddell Davis, 83, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson. Services are 11 a.m. today at Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs with burial in Gatesville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Bryant Davis; son, Albert W. (Butch) Davis of Tylertown and James Larry Davis and wife Sandy of Crystal Springs; daughter, Vickey Lynn Davis Daniels and husband George of Crystal Springs; brothers, Homer Lee Davis of Pearl. Willie Frank Davis of Hazlehurst, and J.C. Davis of Harrisville; sister, Mildred Griffin of Crystal Springs; six grandchildren, Leslie Davis, Adam Davis, Keith Davis, Amy Henry, and Brad and Reed Daniels; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kane and Kate.
