FRANKLIN, Ga., Feb. 3—Funeral services for J. G. Davis, 80 of Route 3, Franklin, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Prospect M.E. church at Texas, Ga. The Rev. J. C. Adams will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Brown and the Rev. Mr. Barnett, and burial will be in Texas campground.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evie Davis; six daughters, Mrs. L. P. Meriweather, of Lanett, Ala.; Mrs. E. C. Keener, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. L. D. Hill, of Atlanta; Mrs. A. J. Gore and Mrs. J. D. Stevens, of Franklin, and Mrs. L. H. Thaxton, of Carrollton, and six sons, R. E. and W. B Davis, of Franklin; R. L. Davis, of LaGrange; T. J. and R. P. Davis of Franklin, and J. A. Davis of Akron, Ohio.
