Brief Report of Interesting Happenings of the Past Week.
Mrs. Margaret Davis, an old and highly esteemed resident of this community, died in this city at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Ruch, last Friday. She had been sick and an invalid for many years. Mrs. Davis was the widow of the late James Davis, who was foreman of mines here for a long time and came here in the early 60s. She was an honored member of the L. D. S. church. She leaves three daughters, two of whom live here, Mrs. Wm. Ruch and Mrs. W. T. Hicklln, also many grandchildren live here.
