Helen E. Davis, age 88, passed away on October 30, 2010. Helen was born on August 13, 1922 in Millbrook, New York to the late James Pierson and Hannah Pierson. She was a registered nurse and served in the United States Army during WWII. She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Davis. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Wednesday November 3rd at 11:30am. Arrangements under the care and direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL.

Davis, John D., 91, of Port Richey, died Monday Aug. 7, 2006 in the Marliere Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey. Born in Bradford, Ohio, he came here in 1981 from Plainview, N.Y. He was an Army Air Forces veteran, and the owner and engineer of Weather Media in Plainview. He was a member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church of Hudson. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Helen; a son, John D. Davis Jr., Portola Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Kandace Lanza, Middleberg; a brother, Charles, Dayton, Ohio; and a grandson. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Homes, Hudson.
