Colton Britt Davis, 19, of Rimersburg, died early Friday morning, Sept. 7, 2007, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Armstrong County.
Born April 25, 1988, in Franklin, he was the son of Dana and Karen Burns Davis of Rimersburg.
He was a 2006 graduate of Union High School in Rimersburg, where he participated in football, basketball and track and field.
Mr. Davis worked at Davis Cookie Co. in Rimersburg.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
Mr. Davis enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid motorcyclist and four-wheeler and motocross driver. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis is survived by one sister, Penny Davis of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Devin Davis and Austin Davis, both at home; and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Burns Curdo of Rimersburg.
Also surviving are one uncle, Donn Davis of Cape Coral, Fla.; two aunts, Kim Rupp and her husband, Dave, of Rimersburg, and Kathy Booth and her husband, Gary, of Sligo; and six cousins, Shane, Spencer, Sydney and Sutton Varner, all of Rimersburg, Scott Booth of Sligo and Nash Rupp of New Bethlehem.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Josephine Davis; his maternal grandfather, Leroy "Bus" Burns; and his maternal step-grandfather, Pete Curdo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Joseph E. Bonafed, pastor at St. Patrick, presiding.
Interment will follow in Rimersburg Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
