According to Robert William Bigham's obituary in the Annual Conferences of The Methodist Episcopal Church, South, For The Year 1900, Robert was born Oct. 5, 1824 in Meriwether County, Ga., and died Oct. 11, 1900.
It also says that he married 1st, Jan. 19, 1858 to Charlotte Elizabeth Davies (although her name is given as "Eliza C." in the marriage announcement - From The Southern Recorder, Milledgeville, Georgia, 26 Jan. 1858 - MARRIED, In the Methodist Episcopal Church in Milledgeville, on Tuesday morning, the 19th inst., by the Rev. Dr. Talmage, the Rev. ROBERT W. BIGHAM, of the California Conference, to Miss ELIZA C. DAVIES of Milledgeville.) and that he married 2nd, December 25, 1872 to Sarah Jane Davies.
Both of his wives her daughters of the Rev. John Baillie Davies.
Robert's obituary in The Atlanta Constitution of 14 Oct. 1900 says that he died in Demorest, GA.
From a further source it states that his first wife, Charlotte Elizabeth Davies, died in 1872.
