Ethel (Granny) Davidson Curry, age 92, former resident of Stateline Rd. Arena, MS went home to glory on Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born on February 2, 1922.
She was preceded in death by her two children, Bobby Miller and Joann Daughtry, their father, Jim Curry, her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her children, Agnes Carter, Reby (Winfred) Tanner of Lucedale, MS, James "Buddy" (Kathy) Curry of Bonifay, FL, Marion (Gary) McDonald of Sweetwater, TN, her brother, James Davidson of Mobile, AL and her sister-in-law, Thelma Davidson of Hurley, MS, 13 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 12pm at Roberts Chapel in Arena, MS Gary McDonald officiated. Visitation was held 10am to 12pm. Burial was in Roberts Chapel Cemetery, Arena, MS. Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa-Moss Point, MS was in charge of arrangements.
