Carl Edward Davidson, age 82 of Livingston, Texas, passed away in Lufkin, Texas on August 8, 2013. He was born on May 27, 1931 in Old Hickory, Tennessee to parents, Ira Franklin Davidson and Gertrude Pearl Wildmon Davidson.
Mr. Davidson, married Joyce M. Browning Davidson in LaPorte, Texas on May 26, 1951. He honored his country by serving in the Air National Guard from 1948 to 1951 and in the U.S. Air Force during the years 1951 to 1953. Mr. Davidson retired from DuPont after 35 year of employment. He was a member of Beach Creek Assembly in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Davidson is preceded in death by his parents, Ira & Gertrude Davidson; and daughter, Sandra Kay Davidson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Don Goodwin will conduct the services. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Grand View Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas. Mr. Davidson's brother-in-law, Don Sparks will conduct the services.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
