Mrs. Lola Mae Chilcote of Huntingdon, R. D. 3, Henderson Township, died Monday, October 2, 1961, at 1:40 p.m. in the Philipsburg State Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital on Saturday and had been ill for several years.
She was born September 13, 1910, in Henderson Township, Huntingdon county, a daughter of Victor and Mary (Dixon) David. She was married to Ralph B. Chilcote who is surviving.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald I. (Shirley) Wagner of Huntingdon. There is one granddaughter. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: H. W. David of Huntingdon, R.D. 3, John S. David of Detroit, Mich., Calvin Monroe David of Elkhart, Ind., Mrs. Carl (Martha) Crownover of Huntingdon, Mrs. Lewis (Catherine) Schirm of Alexandria, Mrs. William (Esther) Brouse of Mount Union, R.D. and Mrs. Charles (Jane) Houpt of Huntingdon, R.D. 3. One brother, George and a sister, Blanche preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from Greens' funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. Raymond A. May, Jr., will officiate. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
