Clara David of Modesto passed away on July 4th, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard David who she has loved and missed for the past 34 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, David & Victoria Balisha, her siblings Margaret & Clarence Balisha.

Clara was born in Turlock to David and Victoria Balisha. She graduated from Denair High School.

Clara is survived by her daughters Susan Davis and Dina McCall, and one grandson, sisters Mildred Johns and Alma Abraham, and many nieces and nephews.

Clara had a zest for life and always a smile on her face. She loved her family and friends, who were always welcome in her home. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Clara enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, going to the movies with her friends. She also loved people, whether she just met them or knew them for many years. Her smile, love and strength will continue to live on forever through her girls.
