Owensville, IN Edith Marie (Daubenspeck) Beck, 96, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Transcendent Health Care of Owensville. She was born September 23, 1916 in Sullivan, IN the daughter of Vernon and Margaret Ellen (Griffin) Daubenspeck. Edith graduated from Mt. Olympus High School, was a homemaker, member of the Maumee General Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Nursing Home. She was a recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award in 2005. Survivors include her grandsons, James (Kelly) Baker IV and Jonathan (Lenay) Baker; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Corellen Baker in 2010 and her husband, Levi Beck. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Ken Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
