Barbara Daubenspeck Thrasher
Barbara, born in Bourbon Co., KY, came to Indiana with her German descendant parents Philip and Barbara Smelser Daubenspeck. They settled in the eastern part of Rush Co. about the same time the Thrasher family settled there. Barbara Daubenspeck married Woodson W. Thrasher in 1831. Their eight children were William M. Thrasher, Elizabeth Thrasher, John P. Thrasher, Marion Thrasher, Harriet Thrasher, Sarah Thrasher, Allen B. Thrasher and Olive Thraher. [1917 Barrows History of Fayette County Indiana p. 780.]
