She was married on 7/8/1917 to Rev. Fred H. Daubenspeck, a Lutheran minister.
Their children were Laird (b. 5/1919) and Fred C. (b. c. 1922).

Mrs. Ada R. Daubenspeck, 70, of School St., Rural Valley died at 9:30 a. m. Friday (Jan. 6, 1961) at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Daubenspeck was born March 27, 1890, a daughter of D. M. and Mary (Hemphill) Rupp. She was a member of Rural Valley First Lutheran Church and the Order of Eastern Star of Chicora.
She served as president and secretary of both the East and West Conference of the United Lutheran Church Women. She also served as president and secretary of the Missionary Society of the Pittsburgh Synod. Mrs. Daubenspeck was twice a delegate to United Lutheran Church of America.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. Fred H. Daubenspeck; a son, Fred C. of Park Forest, Ill; a brother, S. Miles Rupp of Kittanning RD 1 and three grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Welch funeral home from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p. m., where services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday. William C. Hankey, D. D., assisted by Rev. Bruce Gibson, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ford City and Rev. George H. Erickson, pastor of Rural Valley First Lutheran Church will conduct the service.
Interment will take place in North Washington cemetery.
